DIRECTOR COMPETITION
Here's your opportunity to direct a :30 PSA about DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PREVENTION. HOW THE COMPETITION WORKSOut of the entry pool, a jury of directors, producers and the PSA's creative director choose the winning treatment. The submissions are completely anonymous to ensure that the treatments are judged solely on merit. After the jury selects the director, the production of the TV spot begins. The director MUST complete production of the PSA under a very tight timetable. See the production schedule for more information. It is highly recommended that every entrant read the background information on DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PREVENTION, the rules, the schedule and the previous year's wrap-up information. The winner will be expected to work with the creative director and the producer whom the Sean Francis Foundation appoints during the production process. Anyone wishing to enter the Kangaroo Project's Director Competition should submit his or her treatment by Friday, August 4, 2006. The submitted treatment must be based on the winning concept of the the Kangaroo Project's Concept Competition announced in June. |
